Questions we get asked first

Do you lodge returns with the ATO?

No. We prepare the work. Your firm’s accountants review and approve it, and your firm lodges it, including tax returns and BAS. Where you or your client authorise us in writing, we can submit STP pay events on your behalf. This keeps you in control and in line with your professional obligations.

Do you work with businesses that are not accounting firms?

Yes. For SEO, lead generation, bookkeeping and payroll support we work directly with businesses. For tax returns, BAS and SMSF compliance we work through accounting firms and registered tax agents, so a registered professional always reviews and lodges that work.

Who reviews the work?

For tax, BAS and SMSF work, your own accountants. We act as your back-office team and follow your review points. Nothing is lodged or sent to a client without your approval. Marketing and outreach content is approved by you before it is published or sent.

Will you contact my clients?

Only if you ask us to. By default, all client communication goes through you.

Do you process payroll?

Yes. We run pay cycles, prepare STP pay events (and submit them where authorised) and calculate super for your clients in their payroll software. You approve each pay run before it is finalised.

Do you audit SMSFs?

No. SMSF audits must be completed by an independent ASIC-registered SMSF auditor. We prepare audit-ready workpapers and can respond to auditor queries for you.

Do you guarantee SEO rankings or lead numbers?

No. We will tell you what is realistic for your market, report on results every month, and adjust the plan as we learn what works.

Which software do you use?

We work in your software, including Class, BGL Simple Fund 360, Xero, Xero Tax, MYOB and HandiTax. Ask us if yours is not listed.

How is my clients’ data kept secure?

We work inside your systems with multi-factor authentication, company-managed devices and signed confidentiality agreements. See our Security & Compliance page for details.

What does the free trial include?

One trial job (one SMSF, one tax return, one month of bookkeeping, one pay run, or one SEO audit), prepared at no charge, so you can review our work before deciding.

How quickly can we start?

Typically 5–7 business days once agreements are signed, because the team is already hired and trained rather than recruited for you. How it works sets out each step from the first call to live work.

Do you sign a confidentiality agreement?

Yes. We sign a confidentiality agreement and a service agreement covering data handling before any client data is shared. See Security & Compliance for how your data is handled once work begins.

How is the work priced?

Four ways: per job, a dedicated team member, a block of capacity for peak season, or a monthly retainer for SEO and lead generation. Every plan includes a free trial job and a dedicated contact person. See pricing for which model suits which kind of volume.

How long does the work take?

Standard turnaround from complete records is 10–15 business days for SMSF annual returns, 5–7 business days for individual tax returns and 10–15 business days for business tax returns. For payroll, send your payroll information by 12:00 PM AEST/AEDT at least 2 business days before payday.
